We Are Changing!

Once again we are taking the step back and letting our African brother’s and sister’s SHINE! The Africa Arise Project will be releasing its place under SIM Canada and giving I Live Again Uganda it’s place.

WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?

Our heart has always been for Africans to receive the honor they deserve and give those around the world the opportunity to see them shine! We feel that we have brought I Live Again Uganda to a place that it can now begin shining without us. We want to give you greater access to those on the ground in Uganda making the world a better place through your partnership.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?

It means that when you want to support the work being done in Uganda - the trauma counseling, discipleship, resettlement and community development and all the refugee programs you will be able to with SIM Canada. But, you will not find “Africa Arise” on the SIM Canada website. You WILL find projects named: “Trauma Counseling and Resettlement - I Live Again Uganda” and “Refugee Trauma Care - I Live Again Uganda.”

DOES THIS AFFECT MY GIVING?

Not at all. If you are a current partner with the Africa Arise Project all your support was going to I Live Again Uganda already. The only change is the name of the Project under SIM Canada.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO AFRICA ARISE?

Africa Arise will continue as a platform for the sharing of ideas of cross cultural ministry, opportunities for training in doing cross cultural ministry and opportunities to engage with ministries doing incredible things!

Change The Story - Matching Campaign

We are so thankful for the opportunity to serve alongside our partners at I Live Again Uganda in providing urgent care for South Sudanese refugees.

There are over 1,000,000 South Sudanese refugees in Uganda right now and our partners at I LIVE AGAIN UGANDA are strategically placed for such a time as this to provide trauma counseling ministry to men, women and children. Over 63% of the the South Sudanese refugees that have come to Uganda are children. Together, we can CHANGE THE STORY of the pain and trauma of war to healing, restoration and life.

A generous donor has offered to provide
MATCHING FUNDS up to $20,000 by December 31, 2018
towards programs for South Sudanese Refugees in Uganda.
All donations will be MATCHED!
That means that your donation is
DOUBLED!
